FATHOM

FATHOM is a fellowship group primarily for those 50 and over, however all ages are welcome at any of our meetings/events. Our hope is to connect people and to touch the lives of people with God’s words and in His love so that they would know more of the joy, peace, grace, and love which come from God. We meet most 2nd Thursdays from September through May (we take the summer off) and our activities vary.

When we meet at church, we meet at 10 am. During that time, we sing hymns, have a short devotion, bring in speakers from local areas or within our own congregation to lecture on topics of interest to older adults. After our program, we either go out to lunch together or cater in lunch.

We also go on fun outings as a group. Some of the places we have gone to are:

• Getty Museum in Malibu

• Nixon & Reagan Libraries

• Tour of the Music Center & LA Central Library

• Cruises to Ensenada & from LA to Vancouver

• Huntington Library

• Marine Mammal Rescue Center in San Pedro

• Strawberry picking at Tanaka Farm

• Chinese American Museum

• Chen Art Gallery at the Sunrider Company
