Missions
We as a church strongly believe in missions to help spread the gospel and share God’s love in the community and abroad.
We have bi-annual mission trips to Ensenada, Mexico to provide dental services and ministry to those in needs. We also seek to assist Beacon Light in their outreach to the homeless community.
The Missions Committee meets monthly to support various short and long term missions in prayer, communications and financial support. We manage the donations to missions at SBPC, and allocate these to support designated long-term missionaries, both here and abroad. In addition, the committee assists any short-term missions that church members may become involved in.
Throughout the year, the committee informs the congregation of missions-related items through Sunday announcements, and in the online e-letter. The committee also coordinates SBPC's Annual Missions Month, which features guest missions speakers as well as the popular annual Taste of Missions Dinner where you may bring and sample foods from throughout the world and hear about the exciting adventures and experiences from returnees from this year's missions.

Ensenada Mission Trip (January 3-4, 2020)
Mexico Dental Mission
In our last Mexico Dental Trip, we were able to clean the teeth of 36 people in just 2 days! Under the leadership of our licensed dentist and a hygienist, they provided teeth care to adults and children from the community around Poder Y Victoria Iglesia (Power & Victory Church). We were also able to share the gospel with many families.
