Children & Family Ministry
SBPC welcomes children and provides them a caring, secure and nurturing environment where they feel loved, have fun, and thrive as they will grow in the knowledge of the Lord. Our Children's Ministry offers programs for children grades 5 and under where they can participate in fun, learning activities during the year.
Youth Ministry
Our Youth Ministry is for 6th - 12th graders.
We love to fellowship, laugh and have fun as well as be able to talk about real issues in our lives and in the world around us. We know that God knows and loves you and we want to get to know you as well.
Married Couples
Calling all married couples and young families!
Newcomers and visitors are welcome!
This group meets Friday nights (usually the 1st and 3rd of the month) from 7:00-8:30 p.m., except on major holidays. Our Bridge Builder group (1st-6th grade) meets during this time as well.
In the summer, we plan fun activities to bring the whole family together.
We try to coordinate our schedule with Children’s Ministry to ease babysitting challenges.
Prayer Ministry
South Bay Presbyterian Church offers many opportunities for support and encouragement in prayer. Prayer is the foundation of one’s individual faith and the backbone of our church and draws us closer to God. Join one of our prayer meetings:
Tuesday nights, Saturday mornings, Sunday Prayer Partners, and our annual Prayer Breakfast in May.
Small Groups /Studies
Build stronger relationships in small groups and Bible study groups:
Young Family Fellowship meet 1st & 3rd Fridays 7-8:30pm
Women’s Bible Study meet 2nd & 4th Wednesdays 7:30pm
Men’s Group meet 2nd & 4th Wednesdays 7:30pm
50+ Fellowship
Affectionately referred to as FATHOM, this fellowship group is primarily for those 50 years and older in age. However, all ages are welcome for FATHOM meetings and events.
Our hope is to connect people and to touch their lives with God’s words and love, so they will know more joy, peace, grace and love from God.
FATHOM meets most 2nd Thursdays, September - May.
